Goddard to remain BFA chairman
Mike Goddard is to remain chairman of the British Franchise Association until 2010.
Goddard (pictured), co-founder and chief executive officer of Belvoir, was originally appointed as chairman in February 2008.
He is tasked with continuing to deliver the trade body’s ‘One Vision’ strategy, which aims to promote franchising to the general public.
Goddard launched Belvoir, the Grantham, Lincolnshire-headquartered lettings franchise, in 1995, and has grown it to around 150 offices across the UK.
He claims that franchising contributes more than £12bn to the UK economy.
