Knight Frank promotes 34 staff

Knight Frank has boosted its number of salaried partners to 318 following the promotion of 34 staff.

Within its residential division, they include Cassanda Elliott in the London residential development division, Alicia Lindsay at St John’s Wood, Justin Mason in residential valuation and consultancy, Russell Grieve at Beaconsfield and Gary Hall at Wapping.

Knight Frank employs three types of partners – associate, salaried and proprietary, who each have an equity stake in the business. The group promoted 15 of its proprietary partners between during the year to April 30 2009, with each earning an average of £169,000, down from the £780,000 reported for the year to April 30 2008. The group revealed this as part of its 2009 full year results in September, alongside the news that it had earned £20.8m in pre-tax profit for the year.

Knight Frank now employs 1,524 staff in the UK and more than 6,340 people worldwide.

Meanwhile, Harrison Murray has appointed Sara Quatermass as manager of its Enderby office. She has transferred from the agency’s nearby Western Park branch, where she has been manager for the past 12 months. The Enderby team sales negotiators Trilby Brown and Natalie Worley and mortgage advisor Jenny Chamberlain.

Separately in the South of the country, property manager Sherrie Wilson is celebrating 15 years with West Sussex-headquartered lettings agency Leaders. The Croydon manager was presented with a bouquet of flowers, champagne and a cheque to celebrate her lengthy tenure.

Wilson is one of 63 of Leaders’ employees with more than 10 years’ service. Some 147 staff have been with the firm for five or more years, with eight of them with at least 20 or more years’ service.
