D&G axes five negotiators
West-London-based agency Douglas & Gordon has made five negotiators redundant as part of a staff reshuffle.
D&G managing director Ivor Dickinson, says that they were the firm’s worst performing agents.
“I think it was a wake up call for staff; complacency has been creeping in because we hadn’t made any redundancies to date.”
He adds that he will review the situation again after Christmas.
Dickinson is in the throes of a review of negotiators’ sales performance and talking to them on a one-to-one basis to discuss the results.
He says: “The last thing we want to do is lose people.”
